Longinus's text has been immensely influential on Western culture, whether it is still recognized as such or not. Grube's, however, is not the best translation. Preferable is D.A. Russell's, which is more faithful to the subtleties of the original.

This book is stunning. Longinus is such a fan girl and I love him deeply for it. Also the surprise Comrade Longinus content in the end was fire asf
