2.5 stars rounded up. The Sinbad from the crazy live-action show I watched as a kid was not this much of a bore. Cool adventures kind of ruined by his simultaneous whining and self-obsessing. WOW he left a lot of people behind him to die.

I really wanted to go on an adventure with this one, but I’m disappointed in the translation.

More brutal than I expected but fun in its adventure-kinda-way. God could've been mentioned a little less. I got it the first 2 times, Sindbad has a lot of faith.

A quick, light and very enjoyable read. Three tales from the adventures of Sinbad the sailor. This was a very nostalgic book as when I was younger and used to watch Disney's animated film of a few of Sinbad's tales and my grandmother used to read them to me. I forgot how much Sinbad fucking loves going gold. Like, seriously. He will do anything for that shit.

A small selection from 1001 nights. The unlikely adventures of Sinbad are classic adventure romance - full of impossible worlds and unlikely escapes. Very enjoyable.

It was nice to read a classic and finally know the story. That being said, I did not like the stories and they felt really gruesome.

A nice little peek into the adventures of Sindbad the Sailor but definitely not the best translation. To fully enjoy the world of Sindbad it's worth reading N. J. Dawood's translation of [b:Tales from the Thousand and One Nights|20131319|Tales from the Thousand and One Nights|Anonymous|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1442924719l/20131319._SY75_.jpg|859375]
