I really loved this book. I’m a sucker for all New York books and the upper east side. I really liked Naomi and how she wasn’t stuck up and the friends that she had made under the circumstances were hilarious.

apparently on some lauren layne bender bc i can’t seem to get enough. i can’t vouch for these books being written well, nor is it something i would recommend, but there’s a way her writing manages to tickle my brain. this book specifically was slightly more heavy handed than most of her other works, but i digged it well enough. it seems my brain doesn’t want to think and lauren layne’s writing is a good enough form of escapism

A cute, rom com where the women's friendships are just as important (maybe more!) than the romance.
I liked the twist on the enemies to lovers trope and what happens when all your revenge plans meet the object of your planning.
I liked the premise of how the three women meet which sets up the trilogy and I'll be diving into the next book immediately.

Adorable, feel-good story! I love a strong female protagonist who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. I thought the chemistry was great, and I felt myself connected to the characters and their story. I found myself drawn to both Naomi & Oliver as characters, and was rooting for them throughout. I especially enjoyed the family element and the sub-plot with Oliver's father. The overall growth of both characters throughout the novel was well-done. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend to romance fans. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Happy Reading, friends!
Special thanks to Lauren Layne, Gallery Books & Lisa Filipe for providing our copy in exchange for an honest & fair review.
Passion on Park Avenue is a wonderful start to a trilogy following three women & their unlikely yet special friendship.

In all honesty, it took me a bit to get into Passion on Park Avenue. Anytime a title has the word "passion" in it, I gear myself up for some open door romance. Well, over halfway through & no romance, I', thinking this may not be the book for me.
Yes, I'm liking all the characters. Of course, I think the focus on women's friendships is amazing. But, where is the romance?

I did what any good reader does, I put the book down. Passion on Park Avenue sat on my nightstand for over 6 months. Meanwhile, I kept hearing wonderful things about the series. Finally, I felt like I was in the mood to finish it & guess what?!
I really liked it!
Well, as soon as I start reading, I think the story moved in a way that fully captured my attention. I'm beaming when I turn the last page.
As soon as I finished Passion on Park Avenue, I moved on to Love on Lexington. The friendships between the three female leads is really special. Layne is able to write the women in a fun but still authentic manner. If you're a fan of women's fiction, but newer to the romance genre this is a great way to test the waters. Most of the romance is closed door with little to zero steam. Overall, I am so glad I finished this book.

I was super excited for Lauren Layne's newest book especially because I was getting Stiletto vibes, and I loved that series! Passion on Park Avenue was a great opening book to what I'm sure will be a great series. I'm so excited for the next books!
If you've seen the movie The Other Woman, Naomi and her friends' "meet-cute" is similar to that. Despite them all unknowingly being involved with the same guy, when they finally meet, their friendship takes off immediately. They make a pact, and from there, we have our story!
Their friendship is so cute, and I can't wait to get more of it! (Side note: I'm so intrigued by Audrey's book if the hero is who I'm thinking [eye emoji]) They're so supporting of and uplifting to each other. This book shares the best thing about the Stiletto series: strong female friendships.
I liked Naomi's dedication to her business, which she built from the ground up. It was nice to see the heroine as the CEO and the hero in a less intense job. Also, Naomi wanting her story to be told to inspire young girls that they too can accomplish their dreams was great.
And now to the main point: the romance. I loved the love interest, Oliver! He was hot and thoughtful and caring. His chemistry with Naomi was soooo good. There was so much great tension, I loved it.
Lauren Layne is starting yet another great series, and Passion on Park Avenue is evidence of it. This book was so nice and soft but also filled with tension and electricity. I can't wait for the next books! Pick this one up on May 28.

Naomi had never been a girl's girl, and she certainly wasn't the type to get all fluttery about fate. And though she'd been half-joking with the whole pact thing, something odd happened in the moment the three of their hands met. As though they were not bound together now not by Brayden, but by something bigger. Something important.
