I enjoyed the book, but my main issue with it was Persephone just kept making the wrong decision! Over and over! To the point where she became very annoying. Her and Hades do not have good communication but 90% of the issues in the book could be solved if they had a talk instead of fucking all the time!
Also, sexual assault/ stalker came out of no where, really was not necessary to the plot

While I hate the miscommunication trope especially in romance novels, this one is less annoying than most. Maybe it’s because the characters are more stubborn than scared or maybe it’s because they are likeable in other ways or maybe the sex scenes make up for the parts when both Persephone and Hades are being dumb. This story is pretty and the love these two gods have for each other is sweet and sexy. I love that Hades’ worships Persephone and in turn helps her build her powers. That’s such a beautiful metaphor for feminine power through male support and adoration. I can’t wait to start the last book!
