Begrudging respect for a slightly good Tory. Well-written, informative about so much of government previously unknown to me, Jesus Christ fuck Boris Johnson and Michael Gove so much

Snappy, interesting (mostly) political memoir. Probably needs more self criticism.

Great book! Not one of those boring political memoirs. Reads like a novel. Super insightful of how politics works, what kind of world it is. However, I am quite sure the narrating style and fast pace makes it a bit more dramatic than it what it is. Kinda really like the guy so I am pretty biased, but read it!

Rather too slow paced for me. Rory has had a fascinating career but as the memoir got to the latter parts of the 2010s my interest waned.
