Interessante ideeën, maar zoals gewoon acultureel en over gesimplificeerd neergeklakt.

A great book to teach you the power of appreciating your team and the importance of effective management.

I like Ken Blanchard's ideas, but I have a difficult time with the leadership fable genre. The narrative, the characters, and the underlying theses are all poorly developed.

Some good points but the writing style was so patronizing it made it painful to read.

I read this back in 2008 because I needed some guidance around being a freelancer and time management. I can see why this was a NY Time bestseller when it first came out. The critique of the usual "gotcha!" method of management really rang some bells for me. While a bit simplistic, I think the ideas about setting and reviewing goals could be really valuable for managers, employees and people who work for themselves.

The content is useful but the presentation as dialog was *frustrating*. People don’t talk like this. The conversations felt so staged that it distracted from the message.
