Overview
👂 Sounds in books are just as important as the other senses, and as important as in movies! Believe it or not, but a description of what the character hears or doesn't hear (apart from dialogues), can turn the atmosphere of a scene completely upside down.
🦇 The books don't have to be spooky in itself. The story can be about literally anything.
(The description under each prompt is just to put you into an eerie mood, but doesn't actually have to be the vibe of the sound.)
You can add as many books to a prompt as you want, as well as a book to as many prompts as the story feature said prompt.
⛈️ Only rule: It has to be the description of a sound. Dialogues (i.e., 'the character whispered' or "hey, did you hear the whistle of the wind?") count too.
🐾 If it's a comic or picture book, the sound should still be described. An image of it (i.e., rain or a rune drawing) is not enough. Same for audiobooks: the narrator has to describe the sound; an actual track of the sound doesn't count.
(For the rune drawing: the character could describe someone drawing a rune, and what sound it makes. Or they hear a drawing sound earlier and it then turns out it was someone drawing a rune.)

📢 Technically it's a challenge that I'm hosting in October (on my other socials), however, I already know that I'd want a long-term challenge of this (like the disability one). So... here it is with no start/end dates. (Also, had to change a few prompts, as not all were direct sounds.)
