I Haven't Been Entirely Honest with You by Miranda Hart

As someone with reduced energy levels and complex trauma part 1 of her getting ill wasn't too graphic or triggering.Google Books, the ebook sample has most of that chapter for free and the app will read it aloud to you if reading text is not preferred.

Part 2

Share- talking to others about our burdens, social connection. Medical trauma story about a doctor being unhelpful about fatigue. I disagree with her that it's appropriate to share with almost anybody/friends, for people with trauma or people pleasing even if they are your friends talking to a therapist would be wiser because you can burden a traumatized person with your own problems. Some mild comedy in this part ( and throughout the audiobook she does occasionally raise her voice if that's a sensitivity for you.) Talk therapy isn't for everyone, some may need to approach it somatically (through body sensations)

Surrender- not a step by step guide to acceptance and she gets religious at the end. She endorses exposure therapy things which can be re-traumatizing.
