Typical of any anthology, there were some gems in this book, while other stories fell flat. The Rider, The Wandering Devil, Eye & Tooth, and Happy Place were my favorites, with Origin Story deserving a honorary mention for being so odd yet thought provoking. The stories that I didn't enjoy as much tended to take on too many ideas in a short amount of time, or had convoluted plots.
Overall, I really enjoyed learning about cultures that I am less familiar with through the lens of horror/sci-fi.
