anything from lauren asher is an automatic buy for me. she could write a shopping list and i would read it. it was a battle to get this book, i have made the effort last year to collect and physically buy all of lauren’s book and since this holiday novella was indie published, it was hard to get it in europe. BUT I DID. unfortunately, i only got it between christmas and new years and after that, i’ve put it off for a while. UNTIL TODAY. And I DEVOURED IT in an hour and a half.

i loved the lake wisteria world, honestly, i always like small-town romances but lake wisteria is so nuanced and detailed and unique, i simply just want to live in it. and get to know all of the characters around lake wisteria. so i hope more of lauren’s books feature lake wisteria and it wont end with the lakefront billionaires.

AND catalina and luke were so good!! i enjoyed this book and their couple so so much. they really would have deserved a full book too and IM SO SO HAPPY THAT THERE WAS NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP. i love you lauren for avoiding third act breakups lately. i loved the hospital setting , i loved the character background and just everything.
