Found family

Second book in the Passing Through Cafe series. I really like to focus these books have on the wooing between the main characters and the found family themes. Moderate on spice (yet still spicy) these book feel like a love letter to a world the author wishes existed.

There is a serious amount of story that happens that doesn’t really feel like it has much purpose but to set up scenes for the next book (which I noticed, but didn’t FULLY understand in the first book). As a result you could read this book in isolation for the *chefs kiss* representation, but you’d be a little confused and a lot missing out on this bizarre family.
