I enjoyed this book. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous series, and fully understood all the events alluded to in this book. Max is a feisty character and she will be a good match for Treat. Treat has never been in love and I am sure he and Max will have a long and happy future. I really enjoyed the small town feel of this story and look forward to reading more about the Bradens.
