Scythe by Neal Shusterman

3.0

“He would refuse to glean Citra, and defend her life by taking out any scythes who tried to do it for him, with bullet, blade, and his own bare hands.”

“I love you,” he said.
“Same here,” she responded. “Now get lost.”

I really loved the dynamic between Citra and Rowan, but I felt like it should've been explored more. (Rowan u have my heart)

The thing that puts me off this book is the pacing, and also that when I was reading, all I could think about was, ‘Where is this going?’ I was confused and felt that the whole book hasn’t even scratched the surface when it could have been MORE.

Still, this was still a pretty good read for me, ANDD I wished we had at least a little bit of interaction between Scythe Curie and Faraday (MY SHAYLAAAS)
