Super Saurus and the Egg by Deborah Underwood
3.0
Perfectly mediocre book about Arnold the Dino getting a younger brother or sister (though he imagines other possibilities to hatch from the egg, which could be read as presenting a non-normative gender, but it's a stretch).
I have only one major gripe with the illustrations: parent dinos have massively long necks, but Arnold doesn't. Otherwise, the illustrations are a wealth of goofy and colorful imagination.
