• The setting is hard to envision.
• Sometimes, it feels like it's more telling than showing.
• The history of the war could have been explored more
• The trope between the mc and her leading man and friend is just every dystopian ever (I eat it up tho)
• The romantic tension between the mc and the prince started off well, but failed to retain it and progress smoothly. We're just supposed to believe they're in love when nothing significant and deep ever happened leading up to that. Tho, I felt the romantic tension back as the series ends, when they're not even trying.
• The houses, revolution, the plot twist, the message, the politics of it all, etc. are very intriguing. Some of it's just not being fleshed out more.
