Enemies to lovers?

Never heard of her.

I only know enemies to mortal enemies.

I loved this book SO MUCH. SO MUCH. Had me guessing at every turn, at one point 60% through I had a revelation that ended up being wrong, and generally just had fun with it.

However.

The plot armour is a bit insane for me.

Do you know how much boys would shit on you if you got any kind of special treatment and you’re the only girl in the group?

BOY HOWDY YOU WOULD NOT WANT THAT SPECIAL TREATMENT ANYMORE.

That was my only real issue - plot armour and the boys not being mean enough.

Overall, fucking loved it. Is it a bit modern? Yes. Does it use a lot of social media dialect? Yes. Besties it’s set in 2090, have a little fun with it and stop hating a book because of the occasional Gen Z/ Gen A phrase or wording.

3/5 - I threw a fit when I found out I had to wait until March 16th for the second book.
