The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie
5.0
4.5 stars
One of my fave Agatha Christie novels so far—maybe even my fave. I had no idea that the first Tommy & Tuppence book took place before they were married as young 20-somethings, and involved a Moriarty-like master criminal named Mrs Brown. It felt more like a cozy spy novel than a cozy mystery, with high jinks. I sort of guessed the solution early on, but I didn’t mind, there were many twists and turns and I second guessed myself multiple times because of it. Just jolly good fun.
