I am literally plagued by DNF's but that's okay. This book was alright, it started well with this woman going to live in this beautiful apartment with her daughter after a COMPLETE stranger offers it to her for cheap. Okay... so did you not think there was gonna be a catch? Sometimes you gotta look the horse in me mouth!
There were some weird flashbacks to a journal which kept on pulling me out of the story and got a bit annoyed with the main character as she refused to put 2 and 2 together just because she just wanted to make it work! And then it's the pacing... not much happens until 40% mark so I kinda lost my patience with it.
