Play With Me by Becka Mack

read and listened to this book. Since I wasn’t a fan of book one I didn’t think I was going to love book 2, but I actually love this couple a lot more.
The emotions that I went through with Jennie and Garrett or more heartfelt. I could relate to them a lot more. I will say that in book 2, I liked Carter and Olivia‘s relationship a lot more than I did in their actual story. As a matter of fact, all the characters were a lot more tolerable except Cara is the same.
I don’t know if I like her so much she’s so in your business but instead of being helpful, I feel like she causes more problems… and maybe that’s not the case but that’s how it seems when she knows secrets which she didn’t tell her husband, but she poked at them and cause suspicions.
I think I teared up three or four times in this book. Jennie’s story and what she went through broke my heart. “NO MEANS NO”.
Garrett and his family’s story was sad.
All in all the way they developed a friendship first and it turned into love was beautiful.
I still was not excited about the female narrator but I was able to get through it.
I would recommend you read this book.
