Catherine Cowles does suspenseful romance beautifully. I get so involved with the characters when I’m reading her books. My heart goes out to victims, as if they’re my best friends. I really connect with these characters. Always has me at the edge of my seat. 

I loved the chemistry between Colt and Ridley. Mostly because Ridley is very tough and a little spitfire. She’s not gonna let the sheriff of the small town get in her way. But she does it with a good heart. What I mean by that is she has good intentions for doing what she does. It’s not to be malicious.

I loved all the characters, and I’m not sure if this is a series but if it is, I can’t wait for the next one !
