A Perfect Day by Lane Smith

4.0

V funny, Lane Smith. The narrative shift halfway through the book is priceless. Feels v Klassen with those expressive squirrel reaction eyes. A talented storyteller in text and image, this is Lane Smith at his best, manipulating reader expectations through a visual shift while the text repeats (albeit with a slight change in font, no doubt due to Molly Leach's expert book design).
