Watching Neighbours Twice a Day...: How '90s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life by Josh Widdicombe

Did not finish book.
This one wasn't for me, which was a shame because I like Josh Widdecombe. I thought it was going to be more of a straight forward autobiography of his life but it isn't at all. It is a selection of his favourite 90s TV Shows which he recounts in quite in depth details and then just links it back to his life vaguely.

I recognise quite a few of the shows but the book is just like reading the show's Wikipedia page but with some jokes thrown in... I'm not sure I 'get' it. To me, it's almost like this was an idea for a stand up show but it's so niche they knew it wouldn't attract a full audience so it went to book instead. It probably would have worked better as a TV show itself so that images of the actors mentioned and clips of the events mentioned could be used to support the anecdotes.
