Block Shot by Kennedy Ryan
5.0
Kennedy Ryan has the ability to crush my heart and put it back together again and she does it beautifully. Her ability to write a character that relates to me and I get connected to that character is a talent like the other.
I love Banner. She is how I saw myself when I was in school very insecure about weight, but what I loved about her is that she did not allow that to deter her from her goals. She gave herself power with the knowledge that she had and became a beloved sports agent. Living in a man’s world, she was able to best them at their own game.
Jared is another breed, but I still love him. He says exactly how he feels and it’s never sorry for it and it could come off rude and selfish and you would think that to turn off but it’s really not at least not in the story.
There is so many reasons that I was broken during the story because Banner being as great as she was, she was loved by two men, and I didn’t want her to have to choose because I loved both men for her.
I highly recommend this book!
