decided to DNF this after 100 pages as it really did not work for me at all sadly! Court intrigue is not my cuppa anyway, and was quite disappointed that we didn't spend more time with the dead to be fair. that would've been really cool. It felt mediocre with a love triangle that i did not expect and I do not want to spend my time reading smth that will not work for me, but it might for someone else (obv).
