I couldn't have cared less for this thing for the first 70% of it. Only kept reading to get to the monsters wrecking havoc part, which happens way too late in the game, but when it does get to that part, it does deliver a thrilling and cinematic climax. Really picks up big time in the tail end which brings it up to a 2/5. No offence, Scott Sigler, but this would be cool as a movie or series if the first half or more was rewritten completely
