A magnetic, expansive, brutally honest tour de force.
Starr is such a compellingly crafted character (as are all of the characters, really), and her journey in this novel is one we all need to read more about.

Honestly, this book is so long, but it never felt it. Every page is integral.

Also someone please give cover illustrator Debra Cartwright all the illustrating jobs. This cover is seriously incredible.
