This book was everything I had hoped and more! I was delightfully surprised that this book not only had good sex scenes and delivered on the fun concept, but also contained a really sweet relationship, an interesting world build, and a really good arc for the main character.

I wasn't expecting that one main character would struggle with alcoholism and the other would be navigating a new romantic relationship after the death of a partner (years before the book), but both are well handled. I loved that Quen loved all the things abour Becky that she didn't yet love about herself, and made a point to take interests in her interests. 

Romance Ending Spoiler Time:

Okay I am OBSESSED that after leaving her fiance, Becky takes time to actually be on her own and figure her life out. I've neber seen that happen in this type of romance, and I loved getting the year time skip and then them getting together. It is so beautiful that Quen had this big gesture, but didn't tell Becky when she asked for space and instead went about building a life on earth to prove she wasn't only staying on earth for their relationship.

I'd say if you think the concept is fun, you should definitely pick this book up! It's an incredibly fast read and a great time with an incredibly sweet romance. I'd say the 3/5 spicy rating that rainbow crate gave this was spot on. Also, the rainbow crate edition of this book is absolutely gorgeous and came with a bonus smutty scene and art. I am definitely going to check out other books by this author!
