i really think that six of crows is overrated but i promised myself to read the s&b trilogy and at least, the first of the six of crows duology before the series. and i did it.

i was curious what the hype was about. and honestly, i think that kaz is brilliant, he is the glue, he is a great character, truly remarkable. and other than him, it was worth it because of nina and matthias. i absolutely adored the couple and their past. i think that leigh bardugo proved once again that the world of s&b/soc is so complex and so layered. presenting kerch and fjerda after ravka, different cultures and world and hierarchies. what was fascinating is that background of these characters. nina's past, matthias's past, inej's past. KAZ'S PAST, MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!
