my mind is blown and yet I still have so many questions. I will say that I enjoyed this book a lot more than Iron Flame. I feel like Violet was more mature at times. The relationship with Xaden and Violet felt more mature.

I won’t give any spoilers, but the action in this book was so good. I felt like in each chapter at the end left me gasping and ready to jump into the next chapter. I will say that I had to read the ending a few times because I was confused.

There is no denying that the book had me at the edge of my seat so many times so for that is the reason I rated it a 4.5 star I took off half a star for leaving me confused.

I definitely loved this storyline a lot more than book one and I love to book one. But the Hardy and Everly storyline was epic.

Can I just say the fact that JP keeps coming in here in these books with his please donate to the pigeons and now the flamingos has me cracking up so bad. I feel so awful that they all give him a hard time though. lol

Everly was the cutest. She has great banter. She goes with the flow. She is an amazing assistant to Maggie and she really just puts her whole heart in her job and even though it’s hurting her, she puts her whole heart into trying to get Maple to get back with Hardy.

Hardy is just clueless like all he has is a focus that he wants to be with someone and he thinks that reuniting with his ex would put him on that track to be with somebody forever when he obviously has a lot of chemistry with Everly and is clueless to seeing it.

Just the conversations that they would have and the way they could seamlessly talk and have fun and banter was just… Everything!

I can’t wait to hear Hudson story I hate what their father is doing to them and I’m hoping that it comes to a close on the next book because I am sick of hearing of their dad trying to knock them down when all they wanna do is good in the world.

This one had to be my favorite out of the four in the series. This whole series was a lot of fun, but this one takes the cake for me.  I loved Derek and Carey’s storyline.

I enjoyed this one a lot more than The Falcon and the Foe. Both were great, but this one for some reason hit different. I don’t know if it was because of the relationship that Dusty and Leo already had. There was chemistry without them, knowing there was chemistry if that makes sense.

I typically love enemies to lovers, which is why I enjoy the first book, but I felt more chemistry between dusty and Leo.  Single dad tropes is something that I truly enjoy so you can probably never go wrong with it for me.

I will say the only unbelievable part was how fast dusty offered to help Leo with the fake dating trope, but you get how close they are as best friends they would absolutely do anything for each other .

Another fun read!

OK so this isn’t my favorite installment of the series but I feel like it was still important because we get more information on Slade and The Wrath which is really important when it comes to the end of this book. The beginning is an Info dump so it is slow, but then you get into Auren learning to wield her powers.

The ending was sad for me the conversation between Slade and Auren had me emotional but the epilogue shocked me!

These queens need to get it together. They are messing up left and right.

Blown away! I am not a veteran when it comes to fantasy, so I am super thankful that Holly Black created a world that I understood what was happening from beginning to end. and let me just say that each book had me at the edge of my seat at the end and when it came to this book the final book… I just love how Jude had the never say die attitude. She may have felt that something wasn’t gonna work, but it didn’t mean she wasn’t gonna try.

And Carden!!! I can’t believe I was upset with him and book 2 at the end and when I found out what really happened I felt so dumb as did Jude when she realized what he actually did and she didn’t pick up on it. Oh how I love him!

This series is going to live rent free in my head. I just know it. Thank you so much Holly Black!

3.75 This was a cozy read. I loved that it involved a “bear” of a man. He had a belly and loved sweets and Russ thought Cal was hot!

This was a second chance at live since both had lost their first loves and both were single dads.

Enemies to lovers and opposite attract! The banter was good and fun.

I enjoyed this read and will have to continue the series.

Trifecta!

This has to be my favorite so far! Patrick was so insecure because he says he’s nerdy and not what women look for but is so wrong when it comes to Rachel.

Is this instant connection…yes! But it’s not insta love and as a stated many times for this series I really enjoy how these stories go. You don’t have a happily ever after but you have a looking forward to what’s to come.

Pure poetry! I just love his writing and the emotions you go through in this series is unreal!

Going in, I didn’t know how I was going to feel about Gordo. I loved Mark but Gordon was so closed off in Wolfsong. But now I know…the pain he went through over and over.

My heart is a mess and it’s not over!!
