No my flavor! Gave 50 Shades vibes. Rich guy falls for the poor girl and swoons her with his sexual prowess 🥱

I think I don't like her writing style. But I heard good things about the third book in this series, so I am giving it a chance.

I actually listened to a book. I think I am hooked. Loving the Miles brothers. Jameson “Jim” Miles found a woman on a flight that he could not forget. The one night with Emily Foster stayed with him until they met again a year later.

There is a lot of tug and pull with this would be couple. Both vie for dominance. Will two strong and stubborn people be able to come together as one? Obstacles seem to stand in their way at every turn. I was on pins and needles hoping for the best and fearing the worst.

This is a reread because it's been about a couple years since I first read it and I wanted to see if this series is as good as I remember. The first time I thought it was a 5-star read but now while I still love it, it's down to 4.25 stars.
I love Jameson and Emily when they are not fighting and just being cute. And also loved when Emily interacted with her friends from work but Jameson got on my nerves a few times during this book. You can be very stressed but that doesn't mean you can be an asshole to the people around you and they just have to take it. So that and the childish fights made me take 0.75 stars out 😅

“This is it. I can stop searching. I’ve found her.”
