A reunion

I read these books as a young girl, imagining all that was to come. I’ve returned to them as a woman grown, to find even more gems in the pages. Anne Shirley Blythe and her children are the sorts of heroines and heros that harken back to a different time and, in doing so, remind us of those things that are truly important.

I loved Anne of Green Gables, but I don't think the last ones were as good... it's been a long time since I read these.

Come on, who doesn't love Anne Shirley? She remains one of the best literary characters in history, and her adventures never grow old. I've adored every book in the series from day one.

These books are so close to my heart. I grew up reading this. My grandfather gave me the first book before he passed away, and after that I was hooked. Every time I read them..I miss my grandparents, my village. Makes me feel a little closer.
